Dynamic Load

Summary

Dynamic Load - A dynamic load is caused by any load which can vary location and or magnitude over time.

Technical Information

Any loading which doesn’t stay on a fixed point is classed as dynamic.

It is less predictable than permanent loading at the design stage. Therefore, this type of loading usually incorporates a higher factor of safety. Most dynamic loading on an industrial floor is imposed by Materials Handling Equipment (MHE).
