Foam Backing Cord

The foam backing cord is typically made from polyethylene foam and is widely used throughout the construction industry as a stop end before the application of joint sealants. The polyethylene cord is very flexible and can be compressed into a gap or joint almost half its thickness. It is available in a variety of thickness’ and is suitable for use when sealing floor joints in a new floor slab and when carrying out repair work on operational slabs.
