Trafficking - is the word used to describe the movement of an object across a concrete floor’s surface.

Technical Information

Most trafficking considered in warehouse floor system is by Materials Handling Equipment (MHE). If a slab is considered to have high levels of trafficking, the following need to be considered:

  • Armouring of joints.
  • Installation of effective load transfer mechanisms across joints.
  • Ensuring a high level of surface durability of the slab in that area.
